Day One: Foundation & Technique Building
6 Hours - 10am - 4pm
Morning Session — Theory
Understanding the art and science behind safe lash application.
Students begin with the essential knowledge needed to perform eyelash extension services responsibly and professionally. This session blends lecture, visuals, and guided discussion to build a strong foundation.
Topics Include:
- History of eyelash extensions & industry pathways
- Eye & eyelash anatomy
- Natural lash growth cycles
- Contraindications, allergies & common eye conditions
- Safety, sanitation & infection control
- Tools, products & adhesive fundamentals
- Workstation setup & preparation
- Lash mapping basics & design principles
- Consultation techniques & aftercare education
Afternoon Session — Mannequin Practice (Hands-On)
Develop muscle memory, isolation technique, and application control. Students transition into hands-on practice using mannequins to build precision and confidence while applying the morning’s theory.
Hands-On Skill Practice Includes:
- Isolation drills
- Pick-up and placement technique
- Lash mapping on mannequins
- Adhesive control
- Full classic lash application
- Fill and removal practice
- Safe handling of tools & workstation sanitation
The instructor provides real-time feedback and correction to help students develop consistent and safe application habits.
Day Two: Live Client Experience & Professional Application Skills
6 Hours - 10am - 4pm
Real Client Consultations & Preparation
Building confidence through real-world client interaction.
Students learn how to conduct a professional, thorough consultation one of the most important parts of performing safe, high-quality lash services.
Live Client Consultations - Students practice the step-by-step consultation process, including: Understanding client expectations and lash condition, safety and health questions, Identifying contraindications,
Determining the Right Lash Look - Students learn how to select the best lash design based on: Natural lash strength and length, Eye shape, Desired style (natural, cat eye, open eye, etc.), Lash mapping fundamentals. This helps students choose a style that both looks beautiful and is safe for the client.
Aftercare Instructions (Client Education) - Students learn how to clearly explain: How to care for extensions, What to avoid, How often fills are recommended, Proper cleaning routines.
Preparation and Setup - Sanitation and disinfection, Proper setup, Client comfort and positioning, Safe workspace layout. A well-prepared cart is essential for efficient, safe application.
